The following are symptoms of acute coronary distress:
Chest pain is a major symptom of heart attack, particularly in men, but women can experience it, too. You may feel the pain in only one part of your body, or it may move from your chest to your arms, shoulder, neck, teeth, jaw, belly area, or back. The pain can be severe or mild and can feel like:
- A tight band around the chest
- Bad indigestion
- Something heavy sitting on your chest
- Squeezing or heavy pressure
- Pain up the neck and jaw
- Pain down the shoulder or arm into the back
Women's Symptoms Can Be Different:
Sometimes women may have no chest pain and instead experience some of the symptoms listed below. These are also Acute Coronary Symptoms that can be present weeks before the actual heart attack.
- Dizziness
- Indigestion
- Palpitations
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Chest Tightness
- Pain in Neck
- Pain in Arms
- Shoulder Pain
- Anxiety
- Fatigue
- Cough
- Cold Sweat
- Sleep Disturbance
- Arm Weakness
- Shortness of Breath
- Light-Headedness
- Fainting
