
Friends of the Heart Institute's Cardiac Cook-Off Tuesday, October 16, 6:00pm Doylestown Country Club, Green Street, Doylestown
During the fourth biennial Cardiac Cook-Off, Doylestown Hospital cardiologists, paired with top local chefs, to create heart-healthy creations.
Drs. David Boland and Joseph McGarvey Jr. paired with a chef from the Joseph Ambler Inn; Drs. George Wiemann and Jim Kmetzo paired with a chef from Bobby Simone's Bar & Restaurant, and Drs. Doyle Walton and Sam Coleman paired with the chef from the Washington Crossing Inn.
The event included hors d'oeuvres, wine and desserts, and a cash bar, plus opportunities to taste the fruits of the competition.
This event benefited The Friends of The Heart Institute of Doylestown Hospital, an all-volunteer group that raises funds for cardiac equipment and programs at Doylestown Hospital.
