Teen Volunteers and Programs for Teens
TEEN VOLUNTEER POSITIONS HAVE BEEN FILLED FOR THE FALL OF 2010.
APPLICATION REQUESTS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL JANUARY 1, 2011.
WE APPRECIATE YOUR SUPPORT OF DOYLESTOWN HOSPITAL.
INFORMATION FOR PROSPECTIVE TEEN VOLUNTEERS
A minimum 75-hour commitment is required when you apply to volunteer.
STUDENTS MUST BE 14 YEARS OF AGE AND COMMIT TO 75 HOURS OF SERVICE. FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE - POSITIONS ARE LIMITED.
Most services demand daily volunteer coverage (an average of 4 hours a shift/per week). It is important that a student fulfill his/her commitment to a weekly schedule in order to provide continuity of service and appropriate coverage. Due to stringent requirements for volunteer orientation and training, as well as adherence to mandated regulations, in most cases the hospital is not able to accommodate students wishing to complete a graduation project.
Students seeking a graduation project may want to consider other resources in the local community.
