For cardiothoracic surgeon Joseph Auteri, MD, FACS, returning to Doylestown Hospital was a true homecoming. Dr. Auteri grew up in Bucks County and attended Central Bucks East High School where he first honed his leadership skills as quarterback of the Patriot football team.He went on to Harvard University and then to Thomas Jefferson Medical School before completing his post-graduate training at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York. Dr. Auteri's combination of superior technical skill and extraordinary medical leadership is helping to crystallize our vision of what a superior heart program should provide.
