Lynne Mitchell, RN
Lynne joined Doylestown Hospital in 2008 as a nurse on 2 West. When the new second floor unit opened above the Emergency Department in 2010, she transitioned to 2 South, where she enjoys close relationships with her co-workers. "Our unit as a whole is such a great group of people," she says.
According to Lisa Saalfrank, Clinical Manager of 2 Acute Care (North and South): "Lynne has been an asset to the 2 Acute Care team. She is professional, knowledgeable, dedicated, and a team player. She is also a patient advocate and will go above and beyond to meet the needs of the patient and their family. She is kind and compassionate but knows when to be assertive. She strives to provide the best care for her patients. Lynne is one of our Charge Nurses on 2 South and she serves on the 2 Acute Care Nurse Practice Council. She is an exceptional person and nurse.

Lynne recently achieved one of her goals by earning her PCCN making her a Progressive Care Certified Nurse. She plans to continue her education and pursue an advanced degree.
Lynne and Thomas and their children Jeffrey, 18, Kimberly, 14 and Holly, 5, live in Warminster. The children's sports keep Lynne busy and she enjoys spending most of her off time doing kid-related activities.
