Viewing Medical Records
Effective April 1, 2014, patients will be able to view their medical records online in a convenient and secure patient portal myHealthDoylestown.
Individuals age 18 and older can access their online patient record at myHealthDoylestown.com. Patients can also request that a family member or caregiver have access to their medical records at myHealthDoylestown.
Patients have access to the following:
- Laboratory results
- Radiology reports
- Medications taken and allergies noted while a patient
- Visit history
- Discharge summaries and other medical reports
Test results are usually available in 72 hours. The portal contains information dating back to 2008. Medical records are as current as the last time the person was registered as an outpatient or inpatient at Doylestown Hospital. It does not provide doctors' office records. Patients can also print copies of their records from the portal.
How to Obtain Medical Records
To obtain copies of medical records, please contact Health Information Services at 215-345-2314.
Hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.
Voicemail is available to leave messages 48 hours notice to prepare your records is necessary; however, in an emergency situation, we will do our best to expedite a request.
Copies of records are available on CD upon request, however radiology images must be requested from the radiology department at 215-345-2599.
To ensure patient confidentiality, federal regulations (HIPAA) require photo ID and signature of the patient at the time of pick up. If you are unable to pick up your records, please call to make other arrangements.
The Health Information Services (HIS) Department is located on the first floor of Doylestown Hospital, near the crosswalk bridge to the Pavilion.
