Boardwalk Bash

To support The Carol & Louis Della Penna Pediatric Center of Doylestown Hospital

  • Fee:  $50 for Adults, $25 for Children (Ages 6 to 17),  FREE for Kids 5 and Under

Kelly Brexler and the Pediatric Campaign Committee invite you and your family to join them for an afternoon of fun, food and fashion to support the opening of The Carol & Louis Della Penna Pediatric Center! Enjoy boardwalk-themed food and activities, such as face painting, balloon animals, caricatures, cotton candy, popcorn, snow cones and much more.  

A highlight of the day will be a children’s fashion show. All proceeds will benefit the new Della Penna Pediatric Center, and a portion of your admission is a tax-deductible donation.

Thompson Bucks County Classic: A Professional Bike Race and Cycling Festival

Saturday and Sunday, September 13 & 14, Doylestown

Doylestown Hospital is proud to co-sponsor this fun family event once again!

The Doylestown to New Hope road race takes place Saturday, September 13. And, join us at the first-ever Doylestown Hospital Professional Women’s Race at 10 am on Sunday, September 14. Other races on Sunday include the Bucks County Cyclosportif at 8:30 am, Children’s Races at Noon and Thompson Criterium at 1 pm.

Join us for a special event in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Clinicians and staff members from The Breast Center of Doylestown Hospital and our community partners will be on site with health information, giveaways, raffles, chair massages, demonstrations, refreshments and more! Breast surgeon Donna Angotti, MD, and radiologist Michele Kopach, MD, will discuss the biology of breast cancer, what you need to know about breast density, and personal plans for risk reduction.

Cardiac Cook-off

Join the fun for the fifth Cardiac Cook-Off as Doylestown Hospital cardiologists pair with top local chefs and compete to serve the winning heart-healthy creation of the evening.

The biennial event includes tasting the fruits of the competition, hors d’oeuvres, desserts and a cash bar.

The event benefits The Friends of The Heart Institute of Doylestown Hospital, an all-volunteer group that raises funds for cardiac equipment and programs at Doylestown Hospital.

Annual Fall Festival

  • Date: Saturday, October 11
  • Time: 10 am to 3 pm
  • Location: Pine Run Community Center, 777 Ferry Road, Doylestown  

More than two dozen vendors will display their wares for sale in the Community Center, while elsewhere on the 43-acre campus, special activities for children will be offered free-of-charge, including a petting zoo from Quiver Farm and a miniature train layout in the Craft Barn.  Pumpkin and face painting, balloon animals, and a photo booth offer more free fun! Shop for handcrafted and special holiday items. Grab a lunch and stay longer with warm cinnamon cider. A cup of chowder, chips and hotdogs will be available for purchase. “Incredible Edibles” baked by Pine Run Villagers will be for sale.  Pine Run Community is owned and operated by Doylestown Hospital.
